MEDICAL GRADE MASSAGE

I will break down adhesions, boost circulation, and alleviate pressure on the nerves using deep tissue and neuromuscular techniques. Instead of a whole-body treatment, our sessions tend to be focused on your targeted areas of concern and the other muscle groups to support the area for a more comprehensive treatment.

*Sometimes when people hear Deep Tissue, they imagine someone digging their elbow in as hard as they can and leaving bruises. Sometimes an elbow is what is needed, but I only go as deep as I need to. I can feel when the muscles are releasing and going beyond that can actually cause damage to the tissue. I have done deep tissue work on NFL football players to 90-year-old clients, children and everyone in between. It's not uncommon to be a little sore after a session, but it shouldn't last more than a day or two and may feel like you worked out a little harder at the gym or maybe a little tender to the touch. However, I will never leave bruises and make you feel like you have to hold your breath to get through it.

LYMPHATIC MASSAGE

Lymphatic Massage stimulates the lymphatic vessels which is the transportation route for our immune system, hormones, fat and waste products from the cells. Unlike the circulatory system, the lymph does not have a pump; it relies on muscle movement to move the lymph fluid. Lymph can become sluggish due to poor diet, lack of exercise, stress and injury. Lymphatic Drainage can help strengthen the immune system and detoxify the body. It also activates the parasympathetic nervous system, naturally reducing stress and stress hormones. The treatment is profoundly relaxing, reduces pain and restores balance.

Lymphatic massage uses light pressure and rhythmic movements to encourage lymph drainage, whereas traditional massages focus on the muscles.  There are hundreds of lymph nodes throughout the body, but they are mainly concentrated in the neck, armpits, chest, belly and groin area. the lymphatic system is located very close to the surface of the body, so much less pressure is needed than regular massage.

Lymphatic Massage can help with:

  • Decrease stress
  • Improve circulation of body fluids to reduce swelling
  • Expedite the removal of waste and toxins from the body’s tissues
  • Orthopedic Injuries
  • Acne
  • Cellulite
  • Edema/Swelling
  • Spider veins
  • Hormone imbalance
  • Promote tissue regeneration
  • Tendonitis
  • Torn muscles
  • Post-surgical swelling
  • Allergies
  • Burns
  • Constipation
  • Gut Health
